Pretty neat. I applaud Hyundai for having the enthusiasm to release this. I love The Walking Dead, of course, so naturally I like this. We spotted one at a local Hyundai dealer last night. Of course, I wouldn't buy one (because in a few years when the show isn't on any longer, this will seem weird and pointless). But I think overall it is pretty cool...if a bit too expensive.

The show was heavily sponsored by Hyundai,

Hyundai made this Anti-Zombie Elantra for the promoting their car and the show.

Honestly, I think Hyundai should've used the Santa Fe, Veracruz, Genesis or something alot more tough in their line up rather than the compact economy car.

Also I think its funny they find a pristine Hyundai Tuscon like they did.

Should have some sort of brush guard on the front. Maybe some skid plates to keep undead entrails off the running gear. Maybe three or four charcoal filters for the cabin too, I bet the zombie apocalypse would stink to high hell

Well, Shane found it in the traffic jam outside of Atlanta. It's conceivable that a new car would be caught up in that mess. But Hyundai is kind of painting themselves into a corner, unless they never update the bodywork of the car.

At first I read TWD as Three Wheel Drive. Could be Two Wheel Drive too. Or ten wheel drive, I'm not judging.

I watched random episodes as I caught them on TV. Saw that Tucson very often. I wonder how they justified this choice for a car. Is it that's an economical crossover?

They ditch the Tuscon and take the brand new Sante Fe. Hyundai is the true survivor of The Walking Dead universe.

That green Tuscan is also on of the only vehicles that has lasted thru the first four seasons. I think the only other one is Darl's bike. But i doubt either of them will make it into the fifth season. (I watch them on DVD so please no spoilers.)

It's also funny that the zombie apocalypse on The Walking Dead started before this generation Tucson was released. Hyundai: so determined to beat the competition that even their zombie employees design new cars.

I noticed that too! Alot of cars used for backdrop do this too, I think they just kinda grab employees cars and cover them in dirt.

A LOT. My wife works at a movie rental store so she can rent most things for free before they come out. Last week we marathon-ed season four. It was pretty crazy. My only gripe with the show is there is way to many moments where I find myself yelling at the screen because the characters are being completely stupid.

I actually purchased the Walking Dead game season 1 and 2 yesterday, honestly if you enjoy the show, you would enjoy the game, personally I find the Game to actually have better writing, but thats just me.

I plan to watch Season 4 of the show later this month.

Yeah I guess they are like extinct in bigger cities, but Family Video is doing pretty good. They are actually still building new stores. It's mostly a mid-west chain tho.
